About Me & the BCO
I AM MARIA FETTE
Maria Fette is an American artist working out of her home studio in Alton, Il. She has a passion for creating engaging characters and vibrant illustrations that capture the fantasy genre. She graduated from St. Louis Community College with an Associates in Graphic Communication - Animation and has since pursued personal and professional growth within publishing and her local municipal theater.
When not working at her local theater, freelancing or working on personal pieces, Maria can be spotted playing her favorite video games, reading a book, writing stories for the characters she creates, or playing with her two darling fur babies.
The BCO, or Black Crystal Outpost was founded in 2022 as a title to Vend under. The name itself was influenced heavily by a small town within the world she played table top games, The Black Crystal outpost was meant as a respite where all could come, relax, have a good time, and buy the goods they needed for their journey ahead.
